Cops lives matter 2

Pat is a Cleveland police officer who has saved many people lives and work’s in different communities to uplift and motivate all those she comes in contact with.

I have quite a few friends on the Cleveland police force and I support our police department 100%. The dangers all police officers face every day can cause some of them to be on edge and react in a negative way when dealing with the public. This is why they need to be retrained to make them more sensitive to the communities they patrol.

While I have good friends on the Cleveland police force I’ve still had some unpleasant experiences with a few of the boys in blue. But to be honest just like many people are being killed by our officers needlessly the same thing is happening to the millions of police around the world. We (the people of our communities) have to look at both sides of every incident when someone is killed by an officer.d

I had the pleasure to meet the top cop ( Police Chief Calvin Williams) during the RNC convention and found him to be very approachable and pleasant.

Our Mayor whom I’ve known for some time now was also in attendance and I got the chance to ask him a few questions about our poor relations with the police. He assured me that measures was in the works to better the relationship between the police department and our community.

So I thought I’d share my personal life stories with you too show that all police officers aren’t bad. So please keep an open mind and pray for the future of our relationship with the police. Because just like we have family they do as well and we all want to get back home to those we love.

Thanks for sharing. We all hear one bad story and we white wash all the others with that same bad story. We dont appreciate the individuals and their beauty and contribution to the world.. we just generalise

Great post to open our eyes.
